EURIG2017: Щорічна конференція та семінар Європейської групи RDA

Анотація: This is an overview of the reports at the Annual Conference and Seminar of the European RDA Interest Group – EURIG2017 (May 8–10, 2017, Florence and Fiesole, Italy). They were hosted by Casalini Libri and the University of Florence. The author describes such topics covered at the Seminar «RDA in Europe: a Reality and a Challenge» as: RDA governance and strategy; Implementing RDA in Italy and Turkey; Aligning RDA with the Library Reference Model; Translating RDA in Italian and the process of its translating into Hebrew; RDA Toolkit redevelopment. The paper also presents an overview of the EURIG Annual Report and the Report of Europe Region representative. An overview provides a brief summary of the Conference's «RDA towards Linked Data» presentations. They touched upon such issues: RDA implementation and Bibframe, Linked Data and its example: «Rainis and Aspazija» – project of the National library of Latvia. The author mentions the Report from the Program for Cooperative Cataloging Task Groups on URIs in MARC and Bibframe mapping, workshops in thematic groups from Casalina Libri.
