Vernadskyi National Library of UkraineAbstract: There the lexicographic collection of the library of Islamic Republic of Iran of the V. Vernadskyі National library of Ukraine were under investigation on the example of Persian encyclopedic dictionary of «Loghatname» by Ali Akbar Dehkhoda in the article. There the place and the role of «Loghatname» among other encyclopedic dictionaries of Iran, its value as constituent of library’s fund of the VNLU were indicated.
