Updating the Headings of the of the Thematic Navigator of Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine

Abstract: The article deals with the issues of improving the linguistic resources of the library search engine. It is emphasized the importance of updating its own classification system of the library, which makes it possible to realize objective access to the resources of the library fund through the online interface of the electronic catalog. It was clarified that "The shortened version of the NBUV sectional section for a scientific library" is an important element of the library information system, which determines the efficiency of users, the high level of use of library documents and the relevance of the result of intellectual search.
