Reflection of the Editions of the Newest History of Ukraine in the Electronic Catalog of Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine

Abstract: The article deals with the issue of displaying the Newest History of Ukraine in the electronic catalog of the scientific library in accordance with the new wording, proposed by the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, fixed in the abbreviated version of the nomenclature Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, the broad possibilities of the classification system and the formation of more informative UDC indices on their basis. It is shown that the changes made to the abbreviated version of the nomenclature of the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine help to improve the electronic catalog and help the work of the systematizer.
