Recommended bibliography in Ukraine at the beginning of the XXI century

Abstract: The modern state of bibliographic activity of the Ukrainian libraries, devoted for help to education, self-education and popularization of knowledge is considered. The special attention is spared to the recommended bibliographic products of the National parliamentary library of Ukraine, National library of Ukraine for children, State library of Ukraine for youth. Examples are made also of the newest recommendation-bibliographic projects regional, town and other types of libraries. Activation of recommendation-bibliographic activity of readers in social networks is marked, appearance of new genres of recommendation bibliographic information, soil of which are electronic resources and information-communication technologies.
