Zykun N. Shifts of formats of Ukrainian satire publicism as a find path to the readerAbstract: The author investigates the types of printed satire periodicals, conventionally called formats, depending on the shifts of functional assignments of satire, needs and wants of target readers, information space. Special attention is paid to composition and design as well as to genre and content peculiarities of Ukrainian satire printed matters of early ХХ century that stipulated the special character of content and effect on the audience, determined the role of a satire printed matter as a publicistic factor of activation and development of Ukrainian national and liberation movement.
