Lalak O. "Living Library" as innovative social and communicative technology of intercultural communicationAbstract: There is underlined in the article the role of libraries as navigators in social and political activity, as the reason of communicative and intellectual development in society. It is systematized and critically observed the role of libraries‘activity in the process of intercultural communication. There is reflected some innovative social and communicative technology of realization of cross-cultural communicative processes: the interactive measure "living library". The actuality of forming the informatively-communicative competence among libraries’ workers is well-proven under the act of sociocultural and technical-technological transformations.
