Noskina N. Shevchenko. Vivo criticism in newspaper periodicals (1840–1861)Section: To the 200th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko Abstract: The chronological frame for the published works is defined in between 1839 and 1861. The research is based on historical documents and publishings of newspapers of the National Library of Ukraine named after V. I. Vernadsky, which is represented by notes from the periodical issues of the central and regional press. Literary opinions of T. Shevchenko are viewed in context of literary-critical thought of the XIX century, the critic‘s creative co-thinkers and opponents are established.
