Abstract: The main directions of the V. Vernadskyі National Library of Ukraine in national bibliography devoted to the theoretical foundations of the national bibliography, the ways of its creation, including the formation of a consolidated directory-Ukrainian repertoire book summarizes the results done, outlined the prospects for further development of the national bibliography.
