Integration of social and humanitarian disciplines around the figure of Vasyl Vyshyvanyi in the educational space of the college

Abstract: The purpose of the article is to substantiate the expediency and develop methodological recommendations for the integration of the historical, cultural, and literary aspects of his life and work into the educational process. The methodology of the research is based on the analysis of historical sources, literary works of Vasyl Vyshyvanyi, as well as on the synthesis of pedagogical and culturological approaches. The article uses the following methods: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, as well as interactive teaching methods such as discussion, groupwork, role-playing games, and project activities. The novelty of the research lies in a comprehensive approach to the study of the figure of Vasyl Vyshyvanyi, which allows considering him not only as a historical figure but also asa cultural phenomenon and literary figure. The article develops methodological recommendations for the use of an integrative approach in the educational process, which contributes to the formation of a holistic worldview of students and the development of their national consciousness. The conclusions of the research indicate that the integration of educational social and humanitarian disciplines around the figure of Vasyl Vyshyvanyi is an effective way to increase students’ interest in learning, the formation of their critical thinking, and the development of intercultural competence. The article proposes specific forms and methods of work with students, such as interdisciplinary lessons, practical projects, interactive seminars, and role-playing games. The possibility of using modern technologies such as VR tours, educational blogs, and social networks to popularize the figure of Vasyl Vyshyvanyi among students is also considered. The results of the research can be used by college teachers for the development of curricula and methodological materials, as well as for the organization of extracurricular work with students. The integration of the figure of Vasyl Vyshyvanyi into the educational process will contribute to the formation of a deep understanding of the history and culture of Ukraine among students, as well as the development of their national consciousness and patriotism.
