Abstract: The purpose of the article is to present to the general public the modern methods of popularizing library resources in the context of social upheaval, which are used in the work of the scientific and technical library of the E. O. Paton Electric Welding Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The research methodology is based on systemic, informational, comparative, and terminological approaches. The methods of logical analysis, synthesis of facts and generalization of material were usedin the preparation of the article. The scientific novelty of the article is to substantiate the need to expand the methods of presenting library resources with innovative forms in times of the crisis. In the articleis to highlight the novel methods of presenting the library’s collections, which promotes the library's activities and enhances the interaction between the academic library and the user-scientist. Conclusions. The intensification of the study of the use of innovative forms of popularization of library collections isassociated with the active development of the knowledge age. Extensive opportunities for the preparation of multimedia resources make it possible to bring information closer to the user, to fully reveal the content of individual publications and to populate library collections in general. Crisis times, such as the Covid-19 pandemic and the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, have led to an urgent need for remoteservices and, consequently, the search for new forms of presentation of library collections. The prospect of further scientific research on this topic is the potential of using new progressive tools and improving the existing means of promoting the collections of academic libraries in accordance with the requirements of the time.
